The American Association for Science and Technology is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our Web Site users. This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for aascit.org and its affiliated Sites (the "Site"), which is provided to you by the American Association of Science and Technology ("we" or "us" or "AASCIT"). This Privacy Policy governs our collection of information from you through your use of the Site.

1. When you visit AASCIT, you provide us with two types of information, both of which are collected by us: personal information that you knowingly choose to disclose, and Site use information collected by us as you interact with our Site.

2. By using this Site, you agree and acknowledge that your posting of user content (as defined in the AASCIT Terms of Use ) on the Site is done solely at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share information, nor can we guarantee that our security system will not ever be breached. We cannot and do not guarantee that user content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Children's Privacy

1. This children's privacy statement explains our Site's practices with respect to the online collection and use of personal information from children under the age of thirteen, and provides important information on your rights under federal law with respect to such information.

2. This is a general audience Web site and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personally-identifiable information from a user under the age of thirteen, we will delete such information from our records.
